5. What is a Private Banker?

The term “Private Banker” basically means a person working for the Private Bank as a banker or a manager.  It is confusing because some persons not belonging to any banks refer to themselves as private bankers.  They are actually financial advisors keeping the customers’ assets in the custody of the Private Bank.  However, we do not think it appropriate that any person not belonging to the bank call him/her a banker.  In this Website, the term “Private Banker” only means a person belonging to the Private Bank.
